Practical

  1. Welding root passes with E6010 electrode all positions. Plate progressing to pipe in the 1G, 2G, 5G and 6G positions. 
  2. Welding pipe with E7018 electrode in the 1G, 2G, 5G and 6G positions (fill and cap welds).
  3. Alternative test: E7018 root and E7018 fill and cap in the 1G, 2G, 5G and 6G positions.
